PROFILE OF THE FOUNDER:
C.V was born in a godly missionary family in South India. At the age of ten he accepted Christ as his Savior and Lord. At the age of 15 he started preaching. After the high school studies and theological education, C.V. went over to Mizoram in the North East India and worked as a high school teacher till 1968. The well known Indian missionary ‘Bhakt Singh’ was instrumental in challenging the young man C.V for full time service for the Lord. He resigned his job. For the next 30 years C.V and his wife lived in North East India and preached the word to various tribes in that region.
Those were the days (1965-1980) when the Gospel of New Birth with Assurance of Salvation was not preached among the Nominal Christian denominations in North East India . The Lord greatly used C.V to preach the Gospel to various tribes like Hmar, Vaiphei, Paite, Gangte, Simte and Kuki. He stood firm for the Biblical Counselling leading precious souls to salvation though formal churches and liberal theologians opposed him. God used C.V for revival of denominations like Independent Church of India, Manipur Christian Organization, Evangelical Synod of the Gangte people, Thadou Baptist Association , Evangelical Christian Association and New Testament baptist Churches of the Simte Tribe. Those were years of great harvest of souls from these tribes. The Lord used Dr. John to challenge and lead these denominations to pioneer evangelism and church planting. Most of the pioneer Evangelism and church planting today by these denominations and tribes is the result of the revival that took place in those days.
Dr. C.V often talks about the rich Christian heritage he was privileged to have by the Grace of God. John spent his child hood years at the home of his grandfather, C.P.Varghese . He was known as ‘ the walking Bible’. Under his loving care John got the habit of reading four chapters from the Bible every day and in one year he could complete the whole Bible one time. By the time John became ten year old boy, he had finished reading the Bible three times and he could recite more than 200 Bible verses.
John’s father, C.V.George was a great Bible scholar and well known Christian apologist . He planted few churches, authored many books, preached in conferences, taught in Bible Colleges and served as the president of Trivandrum Bible College until the Lord called him to glory at the age of 93. C.V often testified, “ My Grandfather and my father had the greatest influence in my life. They both are are my role models. I thank my God for allowing me to be born and raised in a blessed Christian Missionary home”.
Brother JOHN was raised in the Brethren Assemblies in Ezhumattoor & Punthala in Kerala tate.

When I die, I wish someone writes on my tomb stone "HE LIVED FOR OTHERS.”
